Benjamin Cooper

Data Scientist | Applied AI in Healthcare

I'm a Data Scientist focused on applied AI in healthcare — from supporting and helping train teams on a company-wide agentic AI system to applying ML and predictive modeling to real clinical and product challenges. My goal is to use AI tools thoughtfully to help teams make better, faster decisions.

Education

I am completing a Master of Science in Data Science in Biomedicine at UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine as a Biodesign AI Fellow (expected Dec 2026), deepening my expertise in applying advanced AI and analytics to biomedical challenges.

Personal Projects

My commitment to data-driven solutions extends beyond my professional work. I build projects that demonstrate my proficiency in Python, data visualization, API integration, and web technologies. These include Project Hairy Hope (a No-Shave November fundraiser platform I built to raise money for men's health charities, featuring community voting and progress tracking), a comprehensive Productivity Tracker with interactive KPI badges and Chart.js visualizations, and a physics-based Double Pendulum Simulator.

Looking Forward

I am always eager to explore new challenges and contribute to projects that sit at the intersection of data science and healthcare innovation. My goal is to continue developing solutions that make a tangible difference in people's lives.
